For Amazon sellers and listing designers
Amazon Listing Image Workflow
One path from a supplier photo to a main image you can upload. Each step opens an existing FreeMake.cc tool. This page does not run a generator.
Cutout, white background, compliance, resize
- Remove background
Cut out the product
Export a transparent PNG from a solid or even backdrop. Hair, glass, and busy scenes need a different matting tool.
- Add white background
Place it on pure white
Amazon main images usually need the product alone on pure white. Use the white-background tool before you resize.
- Run compliance check
Check listing rules
Review square ratio, background, and file checks, then fix the item the report flags.
- Resize images
Resize for the listing
Export a square file, commonly 2000×2000, after the background is final. Resizing first can soften edges.
Amazon image size guide
Pixel minimums, main-image background, and secondary slots live in the Amazon image guide. Use it beside this workflow when a category rule is unclear.

- Is this a separate generator?
- No. This page is the order of work: cutout, white background, compliance, then resize. Each button opens a tool that already ships on FreeMake.cc.
- Which step is permanently free, and which uses a daily quota?
- The background remover, compliance checker, and resize tools run in the browser and are permanently free. The white-background step uses AI and follows that tool’s daily quota and credits.
- Should I resize before the white background?
- Clean the background on the largest master file, then resize. A small file that is scaled up first often looks soft on the product edge.
- Does this replace Amazon’s own rules?
- No. Category rules change. Use the checklist to prepare the file, then confirm the current Seller Central requirements before you publish.
FreeMake.cc is a preparation checklist, not Seller Central and not legal advice. Confirm the latest Amazon image rules for your category before upload.
